How long did a temperature excursion last?
It’s crucial to know if a product has been exposed to a temperature breach, but sometimes you need more information than that – like how long was it above the recommended temperature? TimestripPlus™ can tell you exactly that and is the first truly cost-effective indicator to do so. For some products, this is the vital detail.

Communication, communication, communication
TimestripPlus™ tells you that one or more temperature excursions has occurred, but also indicates the cumulative amount of time during which the product experienced that higher temperature. By recording this additional data, TimestripPlus™ gives you the whole picture and provides the necessary information to decide on appropriate action.

Accurate for chilled or frozen
Like its sister products in the Timestrip® cold chain range, TimestripPlus™ is accurate, cost-effective and easy to use and is supplied in an adhesive label format for quick and direct application to products and/or packaging. TimestripPlus™ indicators are currently available for two temperature excursion thresholds: 12°C/54°F for chilled products and 0°C/32°F for frozen products.

When a product’s in transit, how do you know if it’s been exposed to temperatures above its critical level? ThresholdPlus™ provides an unmistakeable indication that a temperature excursion has occurred. With confirmation that product quality has been compromised, action can be taken to protect not just product users, but also the integrity of the rest of the shipment.

There are also products whose quality depends on them reaching a critical temperature and ThresholdPlus™ will indicate whether this has been achieved.

An irreversible temperature indicator, ThresholdPlus™ reacts quickly according to the severity of the temperature excursion. So the viewing window of an 8ºC ThresholdPlus™ will change colour more quickly if the actual temperature reached is 35ºC, than if it is only 10ºC.
